I am very thankful to be dating a guy who loves to take me on a date and just be still with me. We have adopted Fridays as our day to make an effort to spend some one on one time together.  We have a hectic weekend happening right now, one place to go or thing to do after another. Dylan suggested we go for some lunch at a local place that I have been wanting to try for a little bit now, Union Pig and Chicken.

Very simple in design but very well designed. The picnic blanket wall against all the rough wood was a great touch and simple lighting, just impressive all around. Less is more. 

There are fish fries everywhere right now due to lent, so they had a catfish sandwich they were serving. Super awesome! And the mac and cheese… my mouth is watering again just looking at the picture. It was all so good and excellent service.

A nice way to take a breath before all the chaos starts.
