Art journals are as easy as getting a journal or notebook and start doodling.
I really appreciate having an art journal or sketchbook close because it helps clear my thought sometimes and I tend to concentrate or listen a little better when I have a pen in hand and just letting it flow.
These are a few of my pages from my art journal that I shared over on the Brashear Kids blog. We did these with our students this summer at camp and they really enjoyed them. Everyday they were adding something new to their journal.
For the full tutorial go to the Brashear Kids blog and check out what our kids came up with.
It is simple and almost therapeutic.
